CD recording of Concierto Cubano
To record Concierto Cubano, with Andres Cardenes violin, and members of the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Gil Rose, Conductor .Andres is the former Concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony; this piece was written especially for him.Eventually this will be released on BMOP Sound, the Orchestra's superb label, as CD and download. The finished CD will also include Oborama, for oboe family, strings, harp and percussion, with international oboe soloist Alex Klein. (Alex plays a different sized instrument in each movement.) Plus..another work TBA.
