Update #19: Editing Complete! Harold Brown's String Music coming soon.
Dear Supporters & Friends,
We are relieved to report that the CD program notes by Dr. Mailman and editing/mastering by Marc Aubort are complete and conveyed to ALBANY Records for production and distribution!
We thank Tessera Quartet, particularly Cordelia Paw, who while at a new position at Yale coordinated the artists vetting the process, while most were at various gigs: LA, Juilliard etc, requiring patience and skill, overseen by Marc's unmatched experience.
We will keep you informed about availability and especially about a festive launch event/party.

We are happy to receive additional donations as then we can make many more CDs available to your friends at wholesale rate, and ensure a dynamite party. As Renaissance Chorus archivist and Association president, I became aware of a body of original work for strings, orchestra and vocal soloist written by Brown in the 1930s and ’40s and have since vigorously promoted the idea of ensuring that his work be recorded so that it may be accorded a rightful place in the world of music and enjoyed by the larger public. We feel honored to carry out the wishes of Brown's family and former students in sharing his legacy with all who seek to deepen their awareness of fine American music.
