OUR STORY
In this project, we present our first and absolutely unique piece. It is named MetroTude. It is smartly designed for women like us and you - travelers, students, teachers, business women, moms, next door girls and elegant ladies. Our MetroTude has patent pending status.
We are here to prove that convertible clothing is not boring anymore. It is smart, easy and essential. It is simply fashion of the future. It saves time, money and energy. What else is more valuable in our busy lives? Logically, every wise modern woman should have at least one smartly designed garment in her closet. Shouldn’t she?
That's how it started:
Our MetroTude is simple. Any genius idea is simple. It is simple to wear, simple to care for, simple to pack and simple to convert. MetroTude transforms to 14+ looks in just seconds.
It can transform you from casual traveler into elegant lady or vice versa in mere moments. You can see how easy and fun it is to manage your daily dressing routine here:
MetroTude is a multi purpose garment; it is seamless and therefore it is completely reversible.
It is a dress – casual daytime, business appropriate and sexy cocktail all in one!
It’s also a top: strapless, off shoulder, one shoulder and hooded!

With your and Kickstarter support we will be able to start production of our lovely MetroTude. For $19000 we will be able to fill out our first production run and order all three sizes (MetroTude comes in XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL), in two colors - black and gray. Exceeding our goal will provide us the opportunity to add more colors (red, white, and beige/khaki tentatively scheduled).We will keep you updated.
Additionally, each MetroTude will come with a colorful instruction manual of the 14+ looks. For your convenience it will be attached to every dress you receive.And it is not all!!!

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
During the process of developing MetroTude we found out that it can be made only on special equipment. They call them WHOLEGARMENT or KNIT and WEAR machines. WHOLEGARMENT production, allowing an entire garment to be produced on the knitting machine without any linking or sewing. Aside from the cost-savings associated with eliminating post-knit processes, WHOLEGARMENT reduces production time and offers on-demand support of new and repeat orders, consistent quality control and elimination of cut-loss and other material waste.
Only a few manufacturers have the requisite machines with the ability to produce seamless garments. It was an enormous challenge to find and make an arrangements with these manufacturers (you have no idea!!!!:))
