Sure you do! His five word call-to-arms has endured for decades:

Woodsy's an environmental icon, created for the United States Forest Service in 1970 for the first Earth Day in order to raise awareness in children and families for protecting the environment..
40 years later, Woodsy's messages of common sense conservation have impacted several generations of children and are still going strong.
Yet Woodsy is preparing to soar higher than ever!
Now, in conjunction with the United States Forest Service, PineTree Pictures is ready to bring Woodsy's messages to millions of young children via animation... for the very first time.
That's right, Woodsy Owl will entertain and educate in animated adventures that are fun and exciting, filled with music, famous voices and bursting with color... especially green! What's more, Woodsy's in great hands because the animation will be created by award winning animation professionals who have worked for most major studios on some of the most popular and successful children's programming over the past 25 years.
The stories we create will feature topics such as littering, recycling, gardening, composting, camping, respect for and fun facts about nature and animals, and... In other words, countless environmental and conservation topics that will not only entertain young learners, but show them how, through taking simple yet tangible actions, everyone can make a difference and have fun doing so.

Due to the small budget of the Forest Service's Office of Conservation Education, no money is available for funding animation. That's why we've turned to Kickstarter in order to raise the $22,000 necessary to produce an animated Woodsy Owl adventure between 8 to 11 minutes in length. This film will not only be seen by 4-8 year old children everywhere; It will also be used to raise the funding for a series of Woodsy Owl animated DVDs. These DVDs will be sold and part of the money realized will be used by the USFS to further expand the Woodsy Owl conservation education program. This is a true win for all involved, from the countless children who see the DVDs to the public outreaches they will spawn in homes, schools and communities.

Compare both the script and storyboard to the finished film and gain insight to the creative evolution of an animated production. We can discuss all things Woodsy, any of the dozens of animated projects we've worked on - Scooby Doo, Freakazoid, Addams Family, Smurfs, Superman, Pink Panther, etc. - and questions you may have about the industry and how it works, how to put together an animated project... you choose the topic! It's wide open and we'll talk all things Woodsy and beyond.

What's more, one of the supporting/background characters in the cartoon (our choice, human or animal) will be based upon a caricature of you, your child, nephew, niece, spouse, etc.! That's right, forever immortalized and seen by countless children, parents and teachers in this Woodsy Owl cartoon... Epic! (Note: A release must be signed by the person or the guardians of the minor children used as the basis for any design.)

BILL MATHENY is the founder of Pinetree Pictures, a company that is committed to producing fun, family-friendly entertainment and "edu-tainment." He is a writer/story editor/producer of animation as well as a writer of comic books. Bill has worked on a variety of well known entertainment franchises, such as Looney Tunes, Batman, Scooby Doo, Smurfs, Addams Family, Pinky and the Brain, Where's Waldo along with many, many more.
He is a three-time nominee for the Emmy Award who has been known to sport brown hair and blue eyes.
LAREN BRIGHT is an Emmy nominated, award-winning writer and story editor who has received the prestigious Environmental Media Award and several Arc Trust Awards, as well as the National Associates for Youth Mentor Award. He has worked on numerous popular cartoon shows, from Batman the Animated Series, to A Pup Named Scooby Doo, to The NEW Adventures of Captain Planet. Laren has a fine sense of humor, which is not at all apparent from this bio.
SCOTT JERALDS is an Emmy Award winning producer-director-storyboard artist/designer of animated entertainment, as well as being a comic book artist. Scott's credits include Freakazoid, Scooby Doo, Secret Saturdays, Peanuts, Pink Panther and dozens of others.
