About this project
Rogue Point follows the dynamic exploits of Susan Derringer, Atticus Id, Thomas Kidd, Leviathan Jones and Komoko the Blind Swordsman as they traverse a sun-baked post-apacalyptic landscape peppered with intrigue and unfathomable villainy. Gaslit duels and quickdraw showdowns punctuate this amorphously old-world adventure (with a healthy dash of dark humor).
We need your help making this low-budget cult spaghetti western/sci-fi masterpiece a reality! We are raising funds to carry us through the production and post-production process starting this fall and need you on the team. By pledging your support you will be helping feed the cast and crew, keep our cameras rolling and polish off a truly entertaining film that we are passionate about.

The Battle Plan:
Pre-production is slated for August-September 2010, during which time casting will be finalized, the New England locations scouted and secured, costumes designed and the script thoroughly shot-listed, among other preparations about which you will be regularly updated via weekly "News From the Front" email newsletters (sent to all of our Kickstarter comrades).
The three-week production will begin filming in mid October. It will be shot in HD by a team of dedicated indie-film veterans. Exclusive clips from the shoot as well as behind-the-scenes photographs will become a fixture of the weekly "News From the Front" updates.
The postproduction process will actually be significantly underway before the smoke clears on the last filming day in early November, as our on-site Post-Brigade will be capturing, editing and syncing throughout the shoot for maximum efficiency. FX gurus and audio ninjas will be working in tandem with the camera crew, perfecting green-screen/SFX, recording on-set foley and developing preliminary sound-design elements even as the camera rolls. This will ensure a seamless transition into the finishing stage so that our Kickstarter pledgers are guaranteed receipt of rewards ASAP.
