Hello Friends, Family, Fans, and Strangers!
Our goal is to get back into the studio and finish recording our best sounding album yet, and we want you to be a part of it! Being an independent band, not part of a big label, there's one thing that's always unsuccessfully tried holding us back... Cash money. Or lack thereof. With our strong DIY work ethic we have been able to overcome pretty much any obstacles that have gotten in our way as a band and we persevere.
The Past
Since we started this band back in 2001 we've always had a blast writing, performing, and recording our music for you. Our first several albums were recorded all on our own in our bedrooms with what scraps of equipment we could come up with while going to school and working our awesome fast food and retail jobs. To say the least, it was not state of the art. Although we've gotten better at recording our music over the years we started to reach our limits with our equipment.
The start of this album goes back to December 2009 when we headed into the studio and released our 4-song Dirty Beach EP (Click for a free copy!) in January 2010. While in the studio we recorded enough drum tracks to fill up an album, but wanted to focus on just 4 songs to see what we would sound like fully recorded in the studio. We think the results were amazing and plan on keeping the bar held high for our next release.
The Present
We had plans to finish up the album by this summer, but summer has come and gone. We don't want to see the rest of this year come and go without our album being finished! With the help of Kickstarter.com and you, we can finish our album together!
The Future
If you make a donation your money will go towards studio time to finish recording the album along with mixing and mastering to give our album that final polish that we've never had on any previous release. You will have been an integral part in getting our album finished and for your help you will receive a Thank You in our album along with one of the rewards on the right of the page depending on how much you're able to contribute.
