Happy Holidays everyone!  We hope life finds you all well. We have been shipping out rewards as fast as possible over the last several weeks.  Our factories suffered a few delays in getting our full shipments out to us, which unfortunately caused some delay in getting them to all of you.  We apologize to those of you who have had to wait longer than others to get your rewards. We are pleased to announce, however, that all Kickstarter rewards have been shipped out (save for a few rewards where the backers never responded to the survey).  Depending on where you are in the world it may still take several days to receive them, but please know that they are on their way.

With this last step along the way we are bringing our Kickstarter journey, but not our journey with the MOS, to an end.  We are incredibly grateful to all of you who helped us far surpass our funding goal and watch on anxiously as we brought this product to reality.

As you receive your MOS rewards and put them to use we hope we can count on your support in one last way: spread the word!  Please share the MOS with your friends and family and help them know how great the MOS is.

A very important way that you all could help us spread the word is through Amazon product reviews and customer images.  The visibility of the MOS would be greatly increased on Amazon by receiving reviews and customer images on our listings.  Please take a moment to write a brief review of the MOS on our listings (see the links below).  If you have a great spot to use the MOS, take a picture and post it to the listings.  This will really help us get our feet off the ground and help this product to continue to be a success beyond Kickstarter.  We will greatly appreciate you taking time to help us out in this way.

Hey everyone,

We are nearing the end of our first kickstarter experience and we are very happy with the results.  In the end, getting everything worked out to produce the MOS took quite a bit more work than we had anticipated, but it has worked out very well.

Our first small batch of finished product just arrived at our doorstep for us to approve. We've looked it over and given it the go ahead and the rest of the units will be arrving very shortly.  The picture below is of the final packaging and product for the black version.  We will be shipping the MOS out as quickly as we can as they arrive.

For that group who has not yet completed their surveys for shipping information, please fill that out immediately or it will delay your shipment.

We have arranged for one of our reseller partners, Sewell Direct, to do the shipment processing on these items.  This will help us get them to you quickly. For those of you that provided an email address for us to send tracking info to, this means that the email will be coming from Sewell Direct. So, keep an eye out for that.

First off, if you have not yet completed the surveys for shipping information, please do so ASAP.  We need to get your information and put it into our system so that we can make sure you get your MOS as soon as they are finished and ready to ship.

We are excited to announce that the MOS website is finally up, and it includes a link to our first online location to purchase the MOS.  More retailers will be added as we get them set up and ready to sell the MOS.

In other news, all of the components needed to make the MOS are finalized, ordered and in production. We will be working closely with the various factories making the components that go into making the MOS to verify that their production quality is up to our expectations.  As long as things go well we should be able to keep moving along and finish production shortly.

Hey everyone!

We hope you are all getting excited to get your MOS.  We have some good news for everyone.  First off, the surveys to collect your shipping and reward information will be going out over the next day or so.  We can only send out one survey, so please make certain to follow the directions very carefully and fill it out correctly.

The other good news is we have finalized every aspect of the MOS design and how it will be manufactured. We approved the final mold designs this week and our manufacturer has begun fabricating the molds that will be used to produce the plastic MOS.

The aluminum MOS design has also been approved and those will start being manufactured shortly. 

Everything is moving right along, and as long as everything keeps going smoothly we should still be able to meet our November ship goal.

Hey everyone,

Over that last couple of weeks since our last update we have been hard at work making final changes to the design of the MOS, cable ties, and packaging.  We’re putting in long hours to do our best to reach our estimated November delivery date.

Since our last update we’ve made a few changes to the MOS and the packaging.  The changes to the MOS won’t be noticeable to the consumer, but will make a large improvement to the quality of manufacturing.  First, we found that the bottom piece (the orange part in the pictures) was flimsier than we had anticipated and broke too easily.  This wouldn’t really cause any problems once everything is assembled, but it would result in broken pieces during the assembly process and increase our cost of producing the product.  To fix that problem, we have increased the depth of the channel that the bottom piece resides in and increased the thickness of that piece.  So, again, we haven’t changed anything there that will affect how the product looks when received and used, but it will improve the overall quality of the design.

We have also been getting additional sample production units from multiple manufacturers in order to ensure that the quality is as high as possible and to have a backup manufacturer in case we have problems with our primary factory.

The packaging design has seen many revisions, mostly in terms of the print.  We have decided that the consistency of cardboard quality will probably not be good enough to do a fully natural looking box like we had hoped.  Because of this it looks like we will be doing a full printed box.  The goal of this box will be to show off the product and help make clear what it is the product does when a consumer sees it on a shelf in a store without having to pick it up and read the description.  We want all of this while still keeping the packaging as attractive as possible, so we have been constantly revising the design to find a good balance of everything.

Sorry that we don’t have any cool pictures or images to show off today.  We’ll try and get some pictures of our newer prototypes up when we get a spare minute later.
