It's been a great week!

Three interviews are complete, and I'm meeting my fourth (and final, for this semester) interview in 7.5 hours! These interviews have been exactly what I'm looking for: candid, compassionate discussions that open up a dialog between the LGBT and Ex-Gay communities. There really isn't much objective journalism out there about this, and I'm happy to be filling this niche.

Oh, and did I mention that I've reach my goal of $737 and then some?!

Thanks so my wonderful backers (all 32 of you!) I've reached my goal with 19 days to spare! I'm so incredibly overwhelmed with the generosity of friends, family and, surprisingly to me, complete strangers who care enough about my project to give to it. Apparently I do have occasionally interesting things to say.

From now on, any additional funds raised will go to fund the following (in this order): 1.) compensating my wonderful video editors and my second photographer (the first photographer is already getting part of the funds raised); 2.) buying domain hosting and web design skillz so my project can be viewed by many; and 3.) possibly doing more interviews as funds allow.

As these updates go to all backers, and I've never been one for spamming folks, this will be one of few updates, so I encourage anyone who's interested in learning more about my work or what inspired me to get started on this project, to e-mail me at Mishleaub@gmail.com

P.S.: Now's as good of time than any to plug the next project that's coming down the pipeline: I'm going to be creating a long-form piece on gay truckers!
