We want to get T(OUR) up, running, and into the world! We'd love your help with fees, software, and printing costs for our 1st issue.

T(OUR) Magazine is a unique literary platform in that it bridges the social gap between all different sexualities - from gay to straight and everything in between - and unites strangers who want to share their personal stories about the queer community. Contributors can write about their experiences as a trans person, as the sister of a lesbian, as the son of a bisexual parent, or simply as a citizen in a space where something queer is happening (or not happening). It is our hope that T(OUR) Magazine can be accessible in print, and that physical copies can be available not only for readers and writers, but also as resources for LGBTQ community centers across the country. We want T(OUR) to exist so that people have a place to share their stories.

Apparently, starting, designing, and publishing a magazine costs money. Who knew?

Any donations at this time will go towards printing and distributing the first issue, the fees involved with a Business License and registering a new non-profit organization, design software and equipment, and some professional help with layout (because we're fancy, but we're not that fancy!). Over time, we hope to extend T(OUR)'s message into a physical safe space, a community center where folks can discuss issues or stories in and about the LGBTQ community. Open mics. Readings. Lectures. A library of resources with anything from PFLAG pamphlets to info on starting high school GSAs. A space where complete strangers can shake hands and share words. The magazine will continue to produce an interpersonal queer dialogue, and the dialogue will extend into the space itself.

But one step at a time. Right now, T(OUR) is gearing up for its debut issue in the fall. The Hugo House in Seattle has agreed to host a launch party in October and we hope to grow from there! We'd love your help to get T(OUR) Magazine out (of the closet) and into the hands of readers, writers, activists, and cool people everywhere.
