Many recent books elude to Edwin Stanton being involved in Lincoln's assassination, we have the missing link... Templar Blood Money!
After three generations of research pouring over more than 200 years of family documents I have finally found the the truth behind the Knight's Templar treasure and a link from it to Abraham Lincoln's assassination. Even Bill O'Reilly's latest New York Times Best-selling book "Killing Lincoln" eludes to Secretary of War Edwin Stanton's involvement; my family's documents and records may finally prove his pivotal role in the most tragic assassination of its time.
When Steuart King graduated from Trinity college in Dublin Ireland in 1787 and began performing beggar marriages for the Church of Ireland, he had no idea that his blessings would travel over oceans and through time to finally reveal the lost secrets and treasure of the Knight's Templar.
In Search of a King is a historical novel based on real people, governments, and organizations that are active in today's world. This book is based in reality NOT fiction; and while we have no day to day account of characters that lived in the 18th century, we do have original hand written documents along with the perspective of time that unfolds to tell a story of Templar treasure, government collusion, and the truth behind Abraham Lincoln's assassination.
While many people would like to tell the story of their family's history, mine has been hidden by time, and obscured by those who wrote the history first. My name is Scot Clements, and my Great, Great, Great, Great-Grandfather Steuart King was in a unique place and time in history. The son of a flax farmer in Bailieborough, Ireland, he traveled to Dublin and studied under then Fellow, later to become Trinity College's Provost, and finally Bishop of Dromore, George Hall. After a number of years Steuart King graduated Trinity College in September of 1787, but not before becoming indoctrinated in the ways of Freemasonry. He went on to perform beggar marriages for the Church of Ireland all the while acting as Chaplain for the Knights Templar's Lodge No. 452. In June of 1795, Steuart heard the confessions and conferred blessings upon John Sinclair, a fellow Templar who was traveling from Scotland to Nova Scotia in order to secure and return the Templar treasure to Roslyn
Having related the secret Templar stories to his youngest daughter Marianne throughout her adolescence, she emigrated to Canada in 1841 in search of obtaining the truth of her father's legends. While in Toronto, Marianne met an Irishman named Richard from her hometown, fell in love, and married. Afterwards, she tells him the story as well. They move to New York and have one daughter, but Marianne dies at a young age in 1857. Through his efforts to create a life-guard for newly elected President Lincoln, Richard goes on to befriend a confidant of the President by the name of Elmer Elsworth. Elsworth is said to be the first martyr of the civil war, who's death elevated Richard to the new role of personal confidant to the President. Later, in an attempt to impress the charismatic President, Richard related the story of the Templar Treasure that his wife had told him years before. Lincoln does his own research on this in hopes of discovering funds to pay for the war effort and the reconstruction thereafter. What Lincoln didn't know was that the one trusted member of his administration that he had asked to research the legend was a devout mason sworn to protect the Templar horde. It was this devout member of the masonic secret society that was successful in coordinating the assassination of the President and the cover-up that has continued to this day.
The narrative will be told and related from present day fictional characters in Boston, Massachusetts who discover the documents that I am in possession of, and work their way backward in time to discover how the Sinclairs failed in their mission and that the treasure remains exactly as it was originally buried in Nova Scotia in the 14th century. It was this information that compelled Lincoln to act, and placed his assassins on a course that would change history forever.

Where will Your Money go?
Portions of your money will pay for the Co-Author (Who is traditionally employed as a Ghost Writer, but willing to come out of the shadows for this collaborative work) to write this story as it's related by me using family history and cross referencing public and private archives to ensure accuracy. (I tried to get him to work for free but he has too many children to all fit under one bridge, and he says his computer won't work without electricity.) Editing; even the most accomplished authors have to pay for someone to read and point out any errors or inconsistencies in the story. Publishing; both an electronic and a full size printed version of this book. Graphics; we're told that nothing is free, and this includes graphic designs and layouts for the cover and artwork of this book. Copy write Fees; Oh yes, Uncle Sam wants in on this too! ISBN and Barcode; Ever get the feeling that you're getting nickeled and dimed to death with fees to make someone elses job easier? Marketing & Misc. Travel; They tell me that no matter how compelling the truth may be if I don't promote the book nobody will read it. (Except of course those of you on Kickstarter!) Printing; Finally! This is to pay for the actual books to be printed and bound. Over-funding of this project will allow us to include more high resolution pictures, fold out maps, and higher quality bindings. We've priced everything out for self publishing in a perfect bound softcover book, but would love to have the first issue be individually numbered hard-cover books.
Co-Author Kevin Price
A stay-at-home dad by day and a writer at night, Kevin has had his hands in many projects from freelancing and self-publishing to ghosting a, yet to be released, novel about motorcycle gangs. He will breathe heart and soul into this time capsule that spans for many centuries.
