Crunch time!

posted on November 10

Well, as graduate students, we are also involved in the many performances that take place within the Department of Dance (www.twu.edu/dance/concerts.asp) This week kicks off our concert series, and both Bethany and I, along with several of our cast members, are in the theater every night rehearsing for this weekend's show. To say the least, we're pooped! But, that doesn't stop Complex Environments! We all woke up bright and early this past Sunday for a fun 8:30 a.m. rehearsal at Banter with our musician, John. Tomorrow morning, we shall do it again!

The postcards will be sent to print today- with a brand new design. Thanks for all the feedback on the previous design; your comments were noted.

A question for you: What slow song do you most remember from awkward school dances?

Thanks again for all your support!

Naomi Hurtienne says: Red Light Special by TLC. When I finally got up the nerve to ask my crush of a gillion years to dance that was the song that was playing. I was so nervous all I could talk about was how my dog just had nine puppies. Needless to say, the romance never blossomed!

John A. Niemi says: I think it was "Almost Paradise" for prom one year. I really don't like it anymore. So cheesy!!!

Linda Caldwell says: Unchained Melody by The Rightous Brothers -- my knees get wobbly and my eyes tear up just thinking about how I felt with Larry Johnson at the 8th grade dance. The song made me feel love was absolutely mythic and, for some reason, incredibly sad. Hmmmmmm.
