It's a lusciously beautiful wall quilts project! Come invest and maybe walk away with a quiltette of your own.
More art, specifically colorful wall quilts, in the world is my goal and you can jump in and help make it happen. I'm interested in tackling a series of very large wall quilts, 48" x 60" in size featuring natural themes to show in galleries. Smaller quilts in many themes are available as rewards as well as hand-painted thank you postcards.
The quilts are machine and hand sewn and use high quality wool roving, heavyweight linen, silks and at times real pearls or jade beads. All my quilts consist of the front piece, cotton or cotton-poly batting in the middle and a solid backing with all edges finished. They all have hanging hooks or loops attached and the larger ones have a wooden dowel attached to the top backside edge to keep them hanging flat on the wall.
To give you a brief idea of my background I have been supporting myself with creative work for nearly 20 years since graduating from the University of Arizona with my bachelor of fine arts. I've had successful shows in many galleries and alternative venues in LA and Chicago and have designed for many companies including Disney Interactive, Häagen-Dazs, Motorola, EMI and Kraft.
