For all those many people who've asked me how to do Kickstarter in Canada. See my comment below for the answer to that question...
And i've also just heard of a site called indiegogo.com (that looks a whole lot like kickstarter) that's available for international projects.

Mail-order a copy of the book here:

Also... i'm way behind on setting up the on-line order form for this book so that you can mail order more copies. For the moment it's available through Urban Harvest in Toronto and will soon be up on the webstore of the Beehive Design Collective. i will be sure to post the link here once it's ready!

For all those who've asked me about how to run a kickstarter project from Canada... yes, you need a U.S.-based bank account and a U.S. credit card to set up the kickstarter account and amazon account to make this happen. Sorry to say I've not found any special way around this, but rather found a collaborator in the States who was able to help me with these missing pieces, as it's tricky to set up a U.S. bank account without being a resident. Hope this information helps!

I requested for the books to be shipped to Singapore and have not received them yet. Is anyone else experiencing delays?

Just received my books and I LOVE THEM! You did such a great job, Lara! I just started planting 2 windowsill gardens - one at home and one at work. This helps a lot, thanks!!

Iara, as the project is now closed to pledge, how can I be part of it and receive a copy in Brazil?
Hope you have a lot of success!
Kind regards
Creator lara on April 26, 2011
Hi Bruno, yes we'll ship to you in Brasil, thanks for asking!
lara
Creator Bruno Dreux on April 25, 2011
Iara, is it possible to ship to Brazil? We have no taxes for books.
Kind regards

Hi Mary,
you certainly can grow plants on less sunny balconies - it's just a matter of choosing the right plants! Leafy greens and herbs are best in partial shade. More details in the book!
cheers!
lara
Creator Mary on March 21, 2011
Looks good. But not all balconies face south. Can you grow plants on north-facing balconies? Or east or west facing?

Shipping books to Europe... yes, I can make it happen! Already got sponsors from around the world. Depending on the number of books, i *may* have to add a small amount for shipping costs but i'm hoping i won't have to do that. Thanks for asking.
Creator Reto Scheiben on March 20, 2011
Planning shipping to europe?
Creator Dylan on March 6, 2011
I've passed this link around. Hopefully with 50 days to go you'll cover the other $1070, I don't see why not!
Creator Kelly Branchard on February 24, 2011
I'm preparing to launch my own project and can't afford to donate at this time but this is a great concept. Best of luck!
