Kickstarter

Hello again everyone. So before I get stuck into this update I just want to say once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the support! Not only did the donations you all made help AFUERA happen, but the moral support and the belief in our project that they represented were invaluable in keeping moral high and getting us through to the finish line! THANK YOU!

So, for those of you who were not able to join us on the ground or follow us online, I just want to let you know that both the event in Cerro de Pasco and the exhibition in Lima were huge successes. Some truly great art was created, many eyes were opened, experiences were shared and above all a small community was born. This little video, produced by our friends Lali Cienfuegos and Celine Wald during the event, is a nice little glimpse of what went down.

But enough about us. The real reason for this update is to sort out YOUR rewards so we can get them to you ASAP. You will be receiving a separate survey requesting the details of your shipment, but before that there are a few things we want to point out to all the backers in this update.

Unfortunately due to some unexpected costs (and our very tight budget) we were not able to produce a catalogue of the show. However, for those of you who were due to receive the catalogue as one of your rewards, we will now be replacing it with one of the signed, limited edition prints!

As we mentioned in our last post, we have decided to let each and every one of you, chose the print (or prints) you most want. You will be able to specify your choice in the survey you will be receiving, but so that you can make your choices bellow are images of each of the available prints.

Just wanted to share with all of you the beautiful print donated by the always wonderful Bastardilla!

In light of some feedback we have decided to offer backers, who have pledged $250 or over, the chance to request the print of their choice instead of us selecting randomly. 

So if you will be receiving a print as one of your rewards and would like this particular print just let us know.

Hey friends of AFUERA, we are now half way to reaching our goal and still have 11 days to go, so just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us so far!

The reaction to the project since we launched the kickstarter page has been overwhelming so thank you to all those of you who have helped spread the word. A special shout out is definitely in order for Nuart, Critical Mob, Wertical, RJ, El Celso, Susie, Sarah, Elise, Immanuel, Luke and Cecilia for going above and beyond with spreading the word. You guys rock!

Since the kickstarter page launched we have also managed to confirm the support of the Spanich Cultural Center in Lima and the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, so things are looking good.
