Nomitated military short film to be view at GI FILM FESTIVAL. Raise funds for travel/food/festival expenses.
Freedom is not free. Sometimes we change the path of our life because we believe in something that is worth fighting for.
I produced and directed this short film to honor my fallen brothers and all servicemen and women who lost their lives while fighting for our freedom overseas.
As an independent filmmaker and a combat veteran, I feel that it is my duty to show the world what was really like out there and to tell what I believe is the truth of war. The message should be spread out as much as possible so we can honor our real heroes.
FIREWATCH is a short film that I have shown to people at small events, but never at a big film festival. After submitting my work over and over to several Film festivals, my film has been nominated to be screened at the 2012 GI Film Festival in Washington DC. I am very grateful to be chosen.
I am currently living in the West Coast. Having to travel to the east coast where the GI Film festival will take place, represents a challenge for me given the inherent expenses associated with attending this event. What I am trying to accomplish here is to appeal to the good heart of film lovers, friends and anyone with a good soul and who find it in his/her heart to help me cover for such expenses.
I appreciate any little donation that will help me to make it to Washington D.C, and support not only my film but its message. Freedom is never free and we should never forget that!!
