This spring, New Dance Alliance's Performance Mix celebrates 25 years of presenting dance and multidisciplinary performance by artists from NYC and across the U.S., Canada and abroad. This preeminent NYC festival produces a breathtaking range of highly experimental and provocative work. Festival events may include theater performances, installations, open rehearsals, video screenings and artist talks. Performance Mix annually presents the work of over thirty mid-career artists such as Jane Comfort, Doug Elkins, Ishmael Houston-Jones, David Parker, Nicholas Leichter, Yvonne Meier, Lenny Pickett, Layard Thompson, Donna Uchizono and Andrea Woods, while also offering platforms for "up and coming" artists.

The funds earned will contribute to our goal of raising $20,000 towards paying for international artists' travel and visas. This year more than half of the performers are traveling a long way to get to the festival from Argentina, Brussels, Macedonia, Montreal and beyond. Many of them could not afford to present their work at Performance Mix without travel assistance. We have raised $10,000 through a private foundation - the rest we seek through additional foundations and individual donors like you. Please help us raise $1,000 - $5,000.
