The Fountain of Light is a large scale perpetual motion sculpture and music/arts venue.
The Fountain of Light is a large scale perpetual motion sculpture able to juggle glowing spheres into the night sky, giving off the visual perception of a fountain of light. The installation creates a protective transparent canopy underneath its raining trajectory of light from which all are invited to stargaze.
Participants can engage and experience the installation from within as the heart of the Fountain of Light is a creative space for musicians, artists, yogis, hoopers, etc. to perform, share and collaborate on their various art forms. The Fountain of Light will travel for installation at various arts community events, such as music and arts festivals, in addition to public spaces such as parks and beaches. The first installation will be at Burning Man 2011.
In order to bring the Fountain of Light to life, WE NEED YOUR HELP. Please donate; your donation will go towards acquiring the materials needed to fabricate the installation only; all other artistic/construction/performance energies are by volunteer.
