Karen Koenig's first full length album is a mix of introspective folk rock paired with uniquely styled worship music.
The creation of this album has involved many moments of shedding blood, sweat and tears dating back to almost seven years ago. The songs reflect the joys and struggles of a spiritual journey that I've been on for quite some time, a sojourn of taking a faith that was given to me from a long lineage of believers and making it my own. Some of the songs I could play in a bar. Others could be used for corporate or private worship. And I hope to do exactly that. I wanted this album to be enjoyable and thought provoking for anyone willing to listen, whether they agree with what I have to say or not.
