I am thrilled....thank you, all of you! Let's keep this going strong until April 7th. I would love to see it bump up over $5,000.00 so all the fees get paid and I still have the lump sum to do this.(Kickstarter and Amazon take a small cut, as they should.)
Ampersand Art (a very fine company) in Austin, TX will be providing the actual scratchboards for the art. That's huge! I love their boards so much....
Speaking of boards, I'll be working on a large (24"x24") piece for the Animal Trustee's fundraiser in Austin on April 1st. I get to be a 'celebrity' artist on the program and I'll be drawing a sweet little doxie rescue. The finished art will be auctioned off. Whoo hoo! Animal Trustees does great work with low cost spay, neuter and shots.(and of course rescue work) I'm hoping to offer the books to them for future fundraising.
I still need your help to keep this going. I can look at the list of backers and see some folks I know, and some folks who are connected to them and beyond. This is all about sharing the info again and again, to spread the news. So keep on sharing! And Thanks for backing me and believing in this project. Y'all are great!
