Update #16: Screening Everywhere!
Hello,
Just wanted to give everyone an update.
Hopefully you've been following along COLOR ME OBSESSED's successful screening run via either the website (www.ColorMeObsessed.com) or the fast growing Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ColorMeObsessedMOVIE). We've been playing cities all over the world, and are looking for a commercial DVD release in the Spring of 2012.
We still have screenings coming up (including a week run this week in Albuquerque), and a few that we're working on (Atlanta, Cleveland...keep fingers crossed)...

Hello,
I am pleased to announce four confirmed screenings of COLOR ME OBSESSED:
March 26th - Gasparilla International Film Festival, Tampa, FL
April 2nd - Wisconsin Film Festival, Madison, WI
April 15th - Chicago International Movies & Music Fest, Chicago, IL
May 4th - special screening presented by Sound Unseen, Minneapolis, MN
There will also be a Toronto screening announced in a month or so. And other areas are looking quite good.

Wanted to say thank you to everyone who backed the project...this is going to be a great film about the greatest band of all time! I promise you'll enjoy the ride!

First off, thanks so much to everyone who's help us reach our goal...
But we've still got 60 days to go...keep spreading the word.
The more money we can raise, the more places we can travel for interviews, the more film festivals we can submit to, the more we can make this rock!

Update #2: Awards! And another screening...
Friends (with benefits) took the jury award for Best Narrative Feature at Royal Flush...and the prize for Best Ensemble Cast at FirstGlance Philly...
Next up, we are the only narrative feature to play this year's Northampton Independent Film Festival. We screen on Sat. November 7th at 9pm at the amazing Academy of Music on Main Street, in Northampton, MA.

Gorman Bechard is the author of seven novels, THE SECOND GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD, UNWOUND (under the pseudonym Jonathan Baine), NINTH SQUARE, THE HAZMAT DIARY, GOOD NEIGHBORS, BALLS, and the soon-to-be-released NOT SO PRETTY.
He directed/wrote the indie features FRIENDS (WITH BENEFITS) (2009) and YOU ARE ALONE (2006), the horror comedy cult-classic PSYCHOS IN LOVE (1986), as well as the award winning shorts OBJECTS IN THE MIRROR ARE FURTHER THAN THEY APPEAR (2003) and THE PRETTY GIRL (2000).
He recently completed COLOR ME OBSESSED, a feature-length documentary on the Replacements, the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band of all time, and is in pre-production on ONE NIGHT STAND, a psycho-sexual horror film and BROKEN SIDE OF TIME, a dark thriller, that are parts two and three of his planned ALONE trilogy.
Next up, PIZZA, A LOVE STORY, a feature-length documentary on the three greatest pizza places in the world: Sally's, Pepe's, & Modern.
