Ruby Seven Studios launches Election Slots game, a new way to take a role in democracy!
Our goal is to reach $7,777 of funding. Raising this on Kickstarter will help us finish production of our game! We want to get the game out there so that people see it.

HOW THE GAME WORKS...
The design: Social and mobile games offer us the freedom to create virtually any game in the world; however, we very deliberately chose to design our game with slot machine mechanics. Slot machine games have grown to become the most popular games in the US. We intend to utilize that popularity to reach the size of audience that can help us make a difference, and grow awareness in the elections this year!
The setting: Players will enter the game through the lobby of an American, election-themed casino. In selecting a slot machine, they will choose to play for the side of the Republicans or the Democrats. The winnings of the machines will be recorded for either the Democrat or Republican party. A global leader board of all players will track which candidate is in the lead! A backer who pledges $5,000 to our project will allow us to add an additional slot machine supporting the Undecided Party - for this pledge we will feature the backer in our game so that everyone knows they made it possible!
The themes: After the player chooses which political party and candidate they will be playing for, they will see election candidates spinning on the wheels of the slot machines. Machines feature the faces of Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, and other US political leaders.

Game mechanics:
1. Slot machine game play: The game is built around a tried and true casino game mechanic - slots machines.
2. Varying winnings: Election Slots has winnings both big and small. Additionally, each slot machine (in support of a separate political party) will keep a tally of those winnings via our leaderboard to show which candidate is ahead in the race!
3. Social integration: Election Slots invites you to play with your Facebook friends! You can band together to support your favorite party, or start a little friendly competition in support of separate candidates.
GOALS WITHIN THE GAME: As players spin their way through the game, they will reach increasingly difficult levels and achievements. Achievements revolve (literally) around spinning various combinations on the machines and accumulating as many winnings as possibles. The game has 10 politically-themed ranks, starting from the bottom at the Intern Level and ranging through Body, Filibuster, Lobbyist, Muckraker, Figurehead, Pundit, Party Chairman, Elder, VEEP, and rounding out at the final POTUS Level.
WHERE FUNDING GOES: Our overall goal is to finish production of our game. This will require funding for: addition of a multi-player tournament feature to the game, addition of a third party machine within the game, hiring of QA testers, and fixing of any bugs in the game.
