Edit - Alright, we've gotten everything worked out. Backers who have chosen a reward that includes a Warband Starter set will get 3 of these Civitan Gold Murin D10 included. If you'd like to get more then just 3 dice, add $5 for every set of 3 you'd like to get.

$4,000 - Chugoku Troops
Chugoku is an interesting army for Brushfire, being based on the 3
Kingdoms Era of China. Players have the option of choosing a side in
this internal conflict, representing one of the 5 subfactions and
getting a few bonuses for doing so.. or you can play a United Chugoku
force and get more options, but none of the bonuses. This first hero for
this faction, Kong Ming, was previewed a few weeks ago and our first
stretch goal is get the first two troops done.
Our Options for troops are:
Wei Pine – Asiatic Brush-tailed Porcupine (Atherurus macrourus)
Red Wu – Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens)
Shu Hare – Chinese Hare (Lepus sinensis)
Lem Han – Yellow Steppe Lemming (Eolagurus luteus) riding a Chicken steed
Flying Boxer – North Chinese Flying Squirrel (Aeretes melanopterus)
The Wei Pine, Red Wu, Shu Hare, and Lem Han all have similar
equipment options and represent the basic warriors of the principal
factions. The Flying Boxers are martial artist boxers.
Currently we're leaning towards the Flying Boxers and the Shu Hares first, but we'll listen to our fans and backers if the would rather have one of the other options first!

You may be asking yourself "Brushfire? Isn't that game out and at my local game shop?". This is true, you can walk into a number of game shops and pick up the rulebook and models; but that isn't what this Kickstarter is about. When we released Brushfire back in '10 we started it with a Kickstarter and with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears we've managed to release models for 6 of the 8 factions in the rulebook, and we intend to get the models out for the last two as well. If your not familiar with Brushfire head to the bottom of this page.
That's where this Kickstarter comes in: We want Scyzantium and Chugoku to get their models sooner rather then later!
This simple $2000 goal will allow us to get Jason Wiebe of Reaper Miniatures fame to sculpt up the Veiled Assassin and Vizier models for Scyzantium. This will also cover their molding and initial casting costs. You can see some concept artwork from Jon Galvin here:
When we meet this basic goal, we'll continue on with sculpts like Scyzantium's Siege Tortoise and Turtle Riders followed by the troops and heroes for Chugoku.
What is Brushfire?
Brushfire is a Historical Parody miniatures game in which history's greatest armies are represented by a variety of anthropomorphic animals. Originally released in 2010, On The Lamb has released around 30 units for six of the eight factions in the original rulebook.
Can I try it out?
Yes! Quickstart rules are available on our website for free.
Which faction do the rewards from this Kickstarter come from?
Your choice! While the Kickstarter is intended to fund the release of Scyzantium's sculpts, we understand if you would prefer to play with another faction. Your lizard loving friends will appreciate the support! You can choose from any of the 6 factions currently released, or any that become available as part of this Kickstarter. New factions will take alittle longer then the 'May 2012' delivery date, but that should be understandable.

Yes, swapping it out for another Squad Box or Starter is fine :)

Our 'Warband' boxes are our starter sets, each contains 1 Hero and 25pts of troops along with Quickstart rules and dice. Its everything a single player needs to get started (Aside from a table, tape measure, and a friend or particularly cunning dog.)

Yes! Your squad boxes and starter sets can be from any number of factions. If you'd like to get additional Squad Boxes or Starter sets just add an additional $30 per.

We'll cover the first $5 of shipping, after that we ask that you add a little extra to your donation. We use Priority Flat Rate boxes for the most part which will generally cover the cost of the $30 and below levels domesticly. Canada/Mexico would be an additional $5, Europe and the rest of the world is $10.
For the $60 & $100 levels we'll use a Medium Flat Rate Box, so please add $6. Canada is an additional $20. Europe and the rest of the world is an additional $45.
The $130 and greater rewards will ship using a Large Flat Rate Box. Within the US is an additional $10. Canada is an additional $35. Europe and the rest of the world is an additional $55.

Depends on what your getting! :) If you choose from any of the currently released and in production factions May 2012 is the most likely. If you go for Scyzantium, or any other 'new' faction will add a month or two for sculpting and casting

We're going to be teaming up with Lazuli Painting for this, you can find their website here: http://www.wix.com/lazulipainting/site
As this is an outside venture you'd need to pay them separately, we'll just ship your models to them before shipping to you. If you would rather have a different painting studio do your models we can ship to them instead, but we've worked with Lazuli in the past with great results.
