Clarification of new rewards
Apologies for another update so soon, ladies and gentlemen. I promise you won't be getting one of these every day. NO SPAM.
But the new original artwork reward for $350 offered yesterday might have been confusing, and I wanted to clarify. This is the first time we've offered a reward where you don't get every single reward that came before, but rather everything from the $200 level and under. There's a practical reason for that: this new $350 reward has a pretty high limit of 30 backers. IF we got crazy-lucky and all 30 of those rewards were taken by people, and it still included being drawn into the comic, then we would have to find a place for 30 extra crowd scene people, and I just don't think we can make that work.
Quite aside from the extra work for Len, it's probably way more extra people that we can conceivably use in this comic and still have it make sense, have its own integrity, etc. We'd be trying to find more and more ways to get more and more people into scenes -- and also render them (you!) in some recognizable way. So we both fear it might get a little unmanageable when it got to 30+ cameo appearances.
I'm sorry that wasn't clear.
But if you are interested, I just added a limited reward (limit of 5) that includes BOTH the original artwork AND you being drawn into the comic in a crowd scene. The particulars are below. Thanks for your time and patience, and I won't darken your email again today!
