Thank you's in October
First of all I just wanted to recognize all of you who helped fund, install, and support this amazing project from start to finish. I took the entire project down this last week with mixed emotions. Amid the dust cloud of deinstallation I was struck by the way so many parts came into play to create this art experiment. Each plant, each donation, each helping hand added up to manifest this unique living space. The installation ended as it began, with many hands taking the many parts to new places and new lives. Throughout this process, I was reminded about the cyclic nature of our efforts, of life, and of art.
Many people took notice, and were immersed and engaged by the piece. The press took notice too. Check out these links for reviews from the San Francisco Bay Guardian, SF Chronicle, and some local art blogs.
I am in the process of preparing the gifts that you will receive for your contributions this month. Please take some time to fill out the survey so that I can mail the gift to you. Expect the gifts to arrive mid to late October.
A heartfelt thanks to my mother- Nancy, my father- Ed, and my loving girlfriend- Debra. Without their unconditional love and support none of this would have been possible.
Special thanks to
