Quite a few months have gone by and I was interested to hear from everyone about how they are finding their Screaming Banshee systems.
If anyone has had a “near miss” and felt that the system helped them get noticed, I would really like to hear from you. The whole reason I invented this system was to attempt to empower riders in emergency situations, I am a rider too………

Also, we are installing a system on a Ferrari now - the owner feels he could have avoided 2 cars who hit him recently if he had our system! We are starting to sell into the car market, if anyone wants a system for their car let me know and I'll do it for $89 and free shipping - for Kick Starter backers.

We have good stocks of all systems and have just released our new “Version 2” control unit this week that will work on ANY motorcycle or car – looks awesome too, check out the pic below.

I would like to post another update to inform everyone where we stand.

Survey and Raffle

We have been expanding rapidly, more so then we ever could have predicted. To ensure we are providing adequate support and quality products, we have posted a survey that your welcome to fill out on your installation as well as Screaming Banshee as a whole. New Product Launched

Introducing the new Split Screamer! 

This new unit has the compressor and flute separated which is more versatile for mounting in various locations. Great for bikes and scooters with little real estate to spare. The unit will be sold for $109 and comes with a 30" hose that can be cut to size and made to fit on almost any setup. Troubleshooting

Some of you guys had problems with your horn sounding immediately when you turn the ignition. We have a solution for this discussed in our troubleshooting guide and more information about installations on our installation page. You simply need a small relay system to invert the signal - which we are providing free of charge. So far, only about 7% of our orders have required this addition. The new control unit (coming soon) solves the need to sometimes require an adapter and will be on the market soon.

As we are now comming to the end of our Kickstarter project, the Screaming Banshee team would like to again thank you all for your support in making this project a reality. All domestic orders have been shipped - there are only a few international shipments remaining and we should have everything out the door by the end of this week!

For those of you that have not responded to our email regarding international shipping, we are sill waiting for a contact number to be added to the customs form. If you have not yet replied to the email we sent out, please do so as soon as possible - once we get your phone number we can ship out your order.

Full instructions and troubleshooting guide have been posted and updated. If you have any issues getting your Banshee Horn to work, the troubleshooting guide walks you through how to correct any issues. So far any issues of getting systems to work that we've been contacted about are discussed in the troubleshooting guide, please check this before calling or emailing us. The guide is very straight forward and easy to follow.

For example, an uncommon problem that we have encountered is: "If you find that when you hooked it all up but the Screaming Banshee™ system turns on immediately (or as soon as the ignition is turned on)" - The solution is discussed in the troubleshooting guide.

Prices are now set and we don't anticipate any increases. We have great stock levels now and can fill any orders immediately.

After some delays in shipping we have now got all the parts and are putting together the systems ready to ship to all backers. (Scroll down for pictures)

We were hoping to have received all the components 10 days earlier but have been dealing with factory lead times, international shipping and customs procedures. We have learned a lot and now have this down for future sales.

Having said that, we now have everything we need to complete the full systems and get them to all backers. We have to assemble up all the parts but this shouldn't take us longer than about a week to fully complete, we will start shipping systems as soon as they are ready.

We have more than enough black horns but are still waiting on extra chrome horns to arrive. We will try to ship all chrome horns as soon as we possibly can.

We are having lots of fun with this, and again thank you for your support. We can’t wait to get Screaming Banshee™ systems being used by all of you.

One more thing, we are sending a “Quick Start Guide” with all systems but we are working on a very detailed set of online instructions with installation pictures, which we will have on our website by the time the systems are shipped.
