We are getting back together and reshooting scene 1 today on yerba Buena Island. It's just not where it needs to be. Never settle for less.
Luckily this is an interior night scene (meaning we don't need to rent a 200$ generator) however we do need to pay for food for the cast/crew.
The other reshoot we are planning is probably going to be on the weekend of the 17th. It's a exterior night scene but in the interests of saving time and money we are going to shoot it day-for-night. Day for night means you film or photograph something during the day and manipulate the color temperature, exposure, and dynamic range to make it look like night.
The sun is much better at lighting people than our artificial lights are and it runs on free nuclear fusion instead of he 200 dollar a day honda generator.
Here is an example of day-for-night from Kozco.com
