Square Jellyfish Earphone Case and iPhone stand for the new iPhone 5 EarPods
On August 2012 we proudly announced our new product the patent pending Square Jellyfish Earphone Case and iPhone Stand for the Apple classic earphones.
Apple has produced this version of the earphone since 2008. We felt it was pretty safe to design our product around this classic earphone design. Less than 30 days after we release the product, Apple announces a brand new earphone....the EarPod.
We had already spent a lot of money and time to get the first product released. A friend of the family recommended that we see if the Kickstarter followers would help us develop the new tooling for the new EarPods.
So we took the existing version and with some quick modifications we were able to store the new Apple EarPods.
We did notice that the new EarPods are longer so we will have to make some additional modifications.
Now that we have finished the CAD design and made the prototype, we are ready for production tooling. For helping us with the tooling cost, we are offering some very special Kickstarter pricing for both the Apple Classic Earphones and the new iPhone 5 EarPods stands and earphone cases.
The current case for the Apple Classic Earphones are in full production now and the new insert for the iPhone EarPod will be in production as soon as the new tool is completed. We estimate that it should be ready in December.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
As with any design it is hard to know if the design works perfectly until you see finished product. The current version of the Square Jellyfish earphone case and iPhone stand took 4 revisions to the mold before it reached the final version. If the mold requires changes, this will delay the target December delivery. We will do our best to keep everyone posted. We do like test each product completely before we start to ship.

I have been advised by Kickstarter that it is allowed to increase the pledge to cover the cost of two units. Please let us know what colors you would like to receive.
