Your generosity is now allowing us to use this campaign to potentially cover ALL the expenses of recording our FIRST album, and the more money we continue to raise the more studio time and songs we are able to record.

All the greats had their patrons.  Columbus had King Ferdinand, Rome had Augustus, and the Virginia Beach Amphitheater had Farm Bureau Insurance.  Along this great legacy of support comes a little band from Norfolk, Virginia, Major and the Monbacks- and we need your help in making the greatest rock n' roll album of all time:

Representing Norfolk, Larchmont, Ghent, and Norfolk Collegiate and Maury High School's finest graduates, Major and The Monbacks are looking to record their first EP and we need your help and support!! 

The band consists of:

Cole Friedman- Bass
Michael Adkins- guitar/harmonica/piano/vocals
Nick Saunders- Keyboard/organ/guitar/vocals
Hunter Rhodes- drums/vocals
Doc Temple - drums/percussion
Woody Marshall - Trumpet/ good looks
Jay Einhorn - saxophone/guitar/vocals
Tyler West - tambourine/hype
Harry Schloeder - Monback technician

We have been playing music together since middle school, expanding our 2 piece rock 'n roll duo of Neal and Cole Friedman to the full 8 piece "old school party pop" band that we have become today.  With all the members currently spread across Virginia and North Carolina's finest universties, including UVA, WIlliam and Mary, JMU, Wake Forest, and NC State, summertime is the Monbacks specialty, playing shows all across the area, from pool parties and frat parties, to clubs, bars, and private events. 

We are now looking to record and release our first EP and need your help! We're making homegrown Norfolk Soul, recording all ORIGINAL songs written by the Monbacks. However, the costs of recording in a professional studio are very steep and we could use the support of our friends, family, and music, party, and bootyshaking enthusiasts to reach our goal!!  Having this EP will allow us to share our music to a much wider audience, giving us (and you!) a chance to hear our music on the radio and book more shows to give our fans even more chances to check out the groovin' soul of the Monbacks.

We would love to have your support, and any donation you are willing to make will help us get closer to reaching our goal of recording our music so that we can share the fun and enjoyment we have with you and others around the area, and maybe the world!
