Update #6: L5 Episode 1 is LIVE!

Posted on February 21
Hello L5 Donors!

Today is the big day, L5's pilot episode is NOW available for download and streaming on http://www.vodo.net/L5 ! Watch what started as a concept a year ago come to life in this brand new science fiction story.

Thank you sincerely to everyone who made this work possible.  The file we had to submit early to VODO for seeding had a few blips in the credits-- if we have missed your name, we are including it on our website, www.L5-series.com , and rest assured, the final credits will be touched up and all names included on the DVD copies and in 60 days when it goes live for free on Youtube and Vimeo. We apologize and want to make sure our awesome fans and contributors get the recognition they deserve.

Thanks again, be sure to check out http://www.vodo.net/L5 !

Update #5: L5 Release Trailer!

Posted on January 16

Hello intrepid L5 donors!

We are nearing the finish line.  As bats fly out of our beards, voicemails from collections pile up, and ribs begin to show, we are nearing the end of our year long marathon to create the pilot episode of L5.  It has been an incredible journey, made possible by you.

Once we finish, we can begin the next big project (other than getting our lives in order) - assembling the staggering list of DVDs, posters, badges, signed scripts and more that you have all patiently been waiting for.

For right now, please enjoy our official release trailer!!!

Also, help us drive traffic to the trailer on vimeo and youtube, as well as social media!  We need help getting this out!

Update #3: L5 Launches IndieGoGo Campaign!

Posted on October 3, 2011

http://www.indiegogo.com/A-Score-for-L5

This is it, our final round of fundraising.  We've been working for over a year on this project, it's been an absolutely incredible, frustrating, rewarding, mind numbing, exhilarating experience.  We have learned so much, we have gained so much ground.

Our little team has been pushing 80 hour weeks for several months, working into the wee hours of the night every weekday, troubleshooting, rendering, modelling, animating and more troubleshooting.  But we are so nearly there, we can feel the warm glow of the finish line, it beacons us to keep at it, every day, despite much hardship and a pummeling from the global economic recession.

We will finish this pilot episode, and you will know you've been a part of it.

Help us in any way you can, we need it all: donations, blog posts, emails to friends and family, tweets, likes, reddit, digg, word of mouth.  We have already raised $1,135 of our $1200 goal.  But know this:  Every extra dollar we raise beyond our goal doesn't go to waste, and doesn't go into our pockets.  We will use extra funds to hire violinists, cellists and choir singers to get the best recorded samples for our original score.  And we have only 7 days left.

Our last fundraiser, through IndieGoGo:
