We will shoot a professional video promoting logos of foreign LGBT orgs displayed @ June 21 Harvey Milk Plaza rally during Pride Week.
Gays Without Borders wants to make a professional video about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender groups and people from across the planet by displaying logos from foreign groups, printed up as signs to be held up by activists at a rally during Pride Week in San Francisco.
On Thursday, June 21 starting at 4 p.m., we'll assemble dozens of friends and allies at Harvey Milk Plaza at Market and Castro Streets for a rally about global LGBT Pride and everyone will be holding posters featuring the logos of LGBT organizations from beyond America's borders, and a crew will tape it all.
This project is called the San Francisco Global LGBT Pride Video 2012.
Funding is needed to compensate organizers for their time to contact LGBT groups worldwide, professionally print up their logos as large posters, pay the professional crew to record the rally and later edit the tape into a powerful, high-quality video.
We are very experienced with staging rallies and kiss-ins at Harvey Milk Plaza, and documenting the events with photos and videos. So far we have secured the endorsements of and logos from these twelve organizations from ten countries, representative of a geographically diverse coalition:

The key team members are longtime gay, HIV/AIDS and human rights advocates Ken Hodnett, Michael Merrigan and Michael Petrelis, who shot and edited this professional nine-minute and popular video of our IDAHO action in May at United Nations Plaza:
