Greetings, Friends!

We can't thank you enough for your support - it's one week into the campaign and already 69 of you have pledged to back our documentary!  And we're nearing $4,000.  This is nearly enough to pay for the archival footage we are using from San Francisco at the end of World War Two, and some of the Gay Liberation footage.

One of the reasons we began to make the BIG JOY film:  we felt the culture really needs a jolt of inspiration and joy in the form of a poetic documentary about this amazing filmmaker and poet. (Hence the note below from our original brainstorming about "Why would anyone want to see this film?")

We THANK YOU too for letting your friends know about the project.  We see it not just as a documentary, but a movement to inspire more BIG JOY manifestations.
