About this project
The idea is to offer professionally designed Movie Poster Templates for anyone who needs a movie poster but cannot afford a professional designer.
How does it work?

• save and share your posters for free,
• order only the prints you need when you're ready.

What are the funds for?
To prevent any copyright issues, all the content will be created from scratch, which implies: creating drawings and layouts for the templates, and original photos and montages for tutorials and communication purposes.
I'd like to have the resources and peace of mind to commit to this project as fully as I commit to any of my other movie clients' projects, and I might need to hire a few freelancers along the way to bring it to the best possible level.

I'd be happy to share the process with you as it gets created: photo-shoot, masking, retouching, montage, color correction, special effects and little tricks... it will be fun!
But it's not the main goal, there's plenty of great tutorials on the web.
The goal is to create great templates for you to use. -
A well designed layout brings hierarchy in the poster: you want the most important elements to read first.
Everything should be nicely balanced if you want to get that Award-winning look.
You can always go crazy and do your own thing, but the idea here is to offer proper packaging that helps present your movie in a professional manner. -
Yes, since it will be all original material you can use it if it serves your story.
You can also use the pictures as an inspiration (that's the whole point), and reproduce a composition you like using your own elements. -
Some templates will be specifically designed for showcasing still photography and will not require any montage of any kind.
It sure helps to have a little bit of boost and color correction but don't let it stop you from creating your movie poster. A good designed template will always help to balance everything.

Movie Poster Designer.
Born and raised in France, I studied fine arts in Paris. I worked for advertising companies before establishing myself as an independent graphic artist and earned national recognition by designing posters for cities and theaters.
After almost a decade, I was recruited to design movie posters in Los Angeles. I am currently the creative director at Purple Red, a Los Angeles based boutique design studio that creates high-end design for the movie business.
I've worked for some of the major studios, many independent productions and distribution companies, and I look forward to getting involved in new creative collaborations.
