I'm assembling my webcomic Jet-Pack Jenny and the Factor of 01 into print format. It uses androids to comment on current social issues.
Jet-Pack Jenny and the Factor of 01 is a science fiction story done for the past five years as a webcomic, and now that it's done it's going to be published in print format, complete with annotations, sketches, and guest art.
The story uses the traditional method of using sci-fi themes to address current social and political issues. Jet-Pack Jenny, a special agent for Earth finds herself engrossed in a possible android conspiracy when one of her closest friends is discovered to be an android. Told in the tradition of adventure comic strips, the volume is assembled in a format that doesn't reduce the strips to a teeny, tiny size, or have the reader flipping pages vertically.
Jet-Pack Jenny has been self-published since 2001 and Factor of 01 marks the fourth and most ambitious story to date.
