About this project
The Project:
DOPED UP DOLLIES is a 30 minute short film written by David McWane. When Dave isn't performing with Big D and the Kids Table, he explores the stranger side of life with his poetry, fiction, and scripts. Our hope is to bring one of those scripts to life.
We've been in pre-production for almost a year now, preparing all the pieces (the cast, the crew, etc) and trying to minimize costs. Sadly, favors and IOUs only go so far to make a film actually happen. The funds we raise here will go directly into the principal photography of DOPED UP DOLLIES.

Synopsis:
Possy Jenkins, Lucy Brown, Letty and Six (The Doped Up Dollies) begin their Saturday night like they always have: getting drunk, spitting hearsay and cruising through the night listening to all the catching sides of 69.6 The Sunny Moon Show.
However once the Dollies leader Possy Jenkins catches sight of her man Bobby Mercer and that "Paper Shaker" cheerleader getting their hands thigh high, this night's adventure takes a path of vengeance.
Bobby Mercer beware, because with the jealousy of a young girl comes the hell of a wild animal.
