Dear Universe,

2012 has been a wild year for us so far... Now we're ready to take it to the next level, and we need your help!

"Advertise Me" : Bassel & The Supernaturals with Rooftop Sessions

Here's the deal...

We are Bassel & The Supernaturals... a bunch of extremely awkward dudes who have dedicated an absurd amount of time, effort, and soul into this project. Everyone of us works between 1-7 jobs to pay rent and/or goes to school full time, only to sprint over to rehearsal until the wee hours of the morning... Then we sleep for 3-4 hours and do it all over again.

We do all of this for ourselves, for our love of music, and for our families/friends/fans that have supported us along the way. This is what we love to do, and it's what we want to do for the rest of our lives. Crazy? Probably. But we're dreamers, and that's just what we do.



"DREAMER" : Sweet Soul Music from Bassel & The Supernaturals

In the last couple months, we've spent hours and hours on end with engineer Jeff Breakey at Chicago's Hinge Studios. Hinge has put out works by Kanye West (Graduation), Lupe Fiasco, The Clark Sisters, The O'Jays, and so many other incredible artists. This has been an incredible ride for each and everyone of us, and we're so very excited about our progress so far.

We still have a lot of work to complete for this record, and our timeline is getting pretty tight... It's time to take some serious action on this release, and that's where all of you wonderful people come into the mix.



What are we going to do with your contributions?

-- 50% of Proceeds Over Our Goal to the Syrian Humanitarian Effort!

-- We want to give back to YOU!!! You can actually get a lot out of donating, while simultaneously making a huge impact on our release. We like to call it a win-win-win. 

-- We plan to release "Dreamer" on vinyl, along with offering the music digitally on basselmusic.com and through a handful of retailers.

-- We plan to order American Apparel t-shirts and silk-screen band posters (with incredible design work by Max Levine).

-- We plan to rent a van for a 3 week tour out East, and make at least some of our gas money back. We also want to eat some food on tour and make sure that we get through all of this alive.

-- We plan to spread awareness of our music all across the world. We do not have the assistance of a record label, manager, booking agent, or a publicist. We are a completely independent bunch of dudes in our twenties, working together to "make this thing work" (lyric reference from the album).
