What is Follow The Drinkers?

Follow The Drinkers is a web series about drinking.  It is a show about where, and what, to drink when you are in a different city.  Or your own city.    

We will be traveling around the US and filming episodes in different cities highlighting the drinking culture, the drinking history, unique local spots, great local companies, breweries, distilleries, bars, people, and whatever else it takes to tell each cities unique drinking story.  

Every city has its own unique story to tell.  We will sit down with locals, share a drink, and share stories about their towns.  We will meet with local business owners and tour their establishments to get a look at who is at the front of new movement of the drinking culture of the USA.  

We also hope to show you a new place to find a drink, or a new drink to try, when you are traveling through these cities.

We aren't looking to make a low-brow, drunken TV show.  We are looking to create an intimate, gritty, edgy look at the USA and it's unique history with alcohol.

WE CAN’T DO THIS ALONE - WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We’ve spent a lot of time planning and coordinating these first episodes of this series, and we are ready to give blood, sweat, tears, and our own money to make it happen.  

While our goal is to release this series online, we are committed to creating a completely professional and high-quality product.  Filming high-quality HD video can be time consuming and expensive.  This is a legit production, and we are doing things right!  

We are going to be filming for a couple days in each city, and we are going to focus on creating an intimate, emotional, beautiful view of these great places.  That will require time, and the help of some talented people.  

Here is a small sample of what the Kickstarter funds will be used for:

• Editing and organizing footage.
• Planning.
• Color correction.
• Sound.
• Soundtrack.
• Legal fees.
• Travel and lodging.
• Some equipment we need to finish things off.

The point is, we can’t do it without you.

Where and What are you Filming?

We are going to film the first 5 episodes with money from the Kickstarter campaign.  We will be visiting:

• St. Louis, MO
• New Orleans, LA
• Austin, TX
• Dallas, TX
• San Francisco, CA

We have confirmed some great locations in each city that we can't wait to show you.  

Who is Working on This?  And Why a Web Show?

Follow the Drinkers was created and developed by Chad Ettelbrick, who is also Executive Producing and Directing these first 5 episodes.  Chad is an entertainment industry veteran whose experience includes Music and Film/TV industry positions.

Ryan Galligan will be along for the ride to help soak in the drinks and atmosphere along the way.  Ryan is a pro bartender who has a love for great drinks and new places.  

We will travel with a three man team, including a cinematographer. 

The Web is everywhere.  And Web TV is the future.  That is why this is a web only show.
