Sting & Honey Theatre Company is workshopping my new play in SLC. We want to fly out Mark Abernathy from NYC to join the cast.
The Sting & Honey Theatre Company (www.stingandhoney.org) will be workshopping a new play, "State of the Union" by Erik Orton, with a private presentation of the show at the Waterford School Theatre on March 24th in Salt Lake City. We would like to fly out Mark Abernathy, of "The Sabre Rattlers" fame, from NYC to play the role of the Folk Singer (www.sabre-rattlers.com).
If all goes well, "State of the Union" will be opening Off-Broadway in November of this year. We have our eyes set on several 100-200 seat theaters, and we're excited to announce where we'll be shortly. This workshop is the next step in helping us get there.
Please watch the video and, if you connect with this project, make a donation at the level you're comfortable with. We'd love to get you the reward(s) of your choice!
Erik - Playwright/Composer
Mark - Musician
Javen - Artistic Director (Sting & Honey)
Dave - Managing Director (Sting & Honey)
P.S. If you have friends/family in the SLC area, you can make a donation and pass your invitation/tickets onto them. We'd love to help with that!
