I have two photos in an upcoming group show and need assistance with funding output (i.e. printing costs). These need to be big, ya'll!
As a photographer, I have been honored enough to be included among the line-up of incredibly talented artists in the upcoming group art show: "A Fraudulent Desire to Exist" at the Steve Paul Gallery on January 15, 2012 in Deep Ellum. As such, I will be exhibiting two photographs from my most recent as-yet-untitled body of work, dealing with immersion and inversion. Ideally, I'd love to print these photographs as large as will convey the impact of the images themselves, without sacrificing their subtlety. Such an endeavour can be quite expensive, and as a graduate student, my current level of income does not readily lend itself to such pursuits. Therefore, I am harnessing my industriousness and calling upon my friends and family to assist. Cool prizes to those who contribute!
