Kickstarter

I joined my first band when I was 16. My friends Josiah, Kyle, and Jacques invited me to play drums. We were called Billy Sunday. We practiced in a garage in Garden Grove, CA. Then we upgraded to a room at BIOLA University in La Mirada. We wrote some songs recorded an EP, played three shows, and broke up.

For me, that started the constant formation and break-up of bands. I never seem to be happy with the songs. I have trouble getting along with bandmates. It's an incredibly destructive lifestyle for someone like me - being in a band. 

So I started Northern Youth. It's a solo project. It's honest, it's raw, it's a way to let secrets out that I never wanted people to know about me. It's scary and I love it. I'm finally happy with the songs. It's just me making the music I want to make. That's it.

So this is Kickstarter. Which means I need your help. I need $2,000 to master the record and get it out to you all in the form of Vinyl, CD's, and Download Cards. If you're an artist of any kind, you know that it's the type of world where everything is expensive and you never have enough money to buy/do what you need. So I need your help. Friends, family, fans - help me make this record a reality.

I have 30 days to reach $2,000. If I don't get there in time, you don't lose a dime. If I do get there in time, I am not only eternally grateful, I also get to share some really cool rewards with you guys. Check out the reward list and give what you can. Every cent helps.
