Lee, that is exactly my point. I'm trying to pimp the kickstarter but each time I do I have to remember that each new chronoscope stretch goal is one that I don't get. It's frustrating. Part of the reason I did the undertaker level is the 4x29 of the first setting of the Bones models... If I get the vampire tier then I'm missing those models... but each new stretch goal makes me think it works better that way. Well, still got a couple days to choose.

now see, that's a bit of a problem... I still cannot quite get a feel for the size of those (probably my fault).
is there a picture of either of those with just a simple scale in either inches or cm right next to it somewhere? I notice that for a lot of the human-sized figs it's pretty damn well indicated in the product photo's.
I'll buy it either way, but I just can't quite form a picture of how biggish they are :)

Brian, I would not worry too much. The currently most funded board game (Sedition Wars), really went crazy towards the end, AND had a lot less backers per day/pledged money per day than this one has currently. So as long as we keep up the pace, we should still be able to get some more goodies ;)

@Reaper, I guess the retail packaging makes quite a bit of difference, for some places at least. Its mostly that for every stretch goal added 3xVampires would get 3 of each of the stretch goals to 2 for Undertaker. Which would be made up for by Undertaker getting 4x of the original 59 models, whereas the Vampire option would "only" gets 3 of many of them. Except that with the Undead Horde and Dungeon Attack the vampire option gets more of a few of those. And for every stretch goal reached the vampire option would get 3 models to the Undertakers 2, and we're already at 52 of those stretch goal models, (and 11 of which aren't included in the base undertaker option) with another 10 highly likely to be added in the next day or two (6 of them not going to Undertaker). But of course all of the other add-ons are the same price either way.
Its all a good deal for sure, but it just seems with every passing stretch goal the multiple Vampire option comes out better and better.

Cool, like I said it's not a problem for me. Whatever saves you folks on money for packaging is a bonus. Plus, I'd think shipping us Vampires each over 100 minis in retail packaging would require even larger shipping packages, which increases shipping costs.

It's just that over the course of the comments a lot of folks have asked for confirmation one way or another and Reaper has yet to do so. As I recall from the last discussion, a large Bones box with everying inside was the leading possibility.

@reaper the description says 7" tall, 12" head to tail.
In the concept it looks taller than it's long. Is that 12" measured along the tail? 7" is to the wingtips right, not the head? (actually 7" to the head, wings above that... I DM for players that size at times xD smaller would be better for me, haha)

It still a great deal for a shop and will continue to improve. And it's the only way a shop can get things packaged for resale. The undertaker is only missing the Chronoscope stretch goals. They can also get all of the buy-ins they want too.

Haw! Okay, I'm going to boost my pledge to account for the clockwork dragon, on faith that we'll pass this goal before the Kickstarter ends. I can't pass this one up! It makes me wish that the wings would somehow be available as separate parts in the Boneyard; those would be great for steampunk flying contraptions (i.e., ornithopters). Either that, or I could just get an extra dragon, give it some sort of rocket-boosters, etc., in place of its wings, and then re-purpose the wings for an ornithopter project. Beautiful design!

Ok so you really need to get at least 10 clockwork dragons so you can have two of each metal type as guardians for drawbridges, doorways, dungeon chasms, cavern entrances, dwarven holds, skyscrapers ect... The colors would be gold, copper, silver, chrome, and battleworn black with gunmetal silver battlescars.
Ok I think I have it covered with the number of clockwork dragons I need to order now. What do you guys think!

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing Matthew. I also did the undertaker but it just doesn't seem like a great option anymore even for a shop. Getting 3x vampires gets you more of all the stretch goal models (which is currently 40 models), as well as the chronoscope and marines (they'll be unlocked for sure...). And I'm pretty sure you'll end up with more of the Dungeon Attack and Undead Horde models that way too and both of those have have maybe half of the 19 models the undertaker gets that the vampire didn't start with.
Its all great deals, but it just doesn't seem like the Undertaker has scaled up nearly as much as the Vampire has.

With all these extra free models just for Vampire I'm starting to wonder if I should just cancel my undertaker tier and get two vampire tiers and use the extra money to buy the specific models I want from the old 29 already existing bones models. At this rate I'll end up with far more minis than if I stick with just undertaker.
I'm hoping that excluding undertaker from the new minis stops with this last stretch goal.
