About this project
I'm attempt to put the finishing touches on my latest album "$eamless" -- The follow-up to the award-winning album "Me, Myself, and I" (2009 Ohio Hip-Hop Awards Best Album). I'm hoping to make this project even larger than the last one!
I'm so excited to bring my fans something new and exciting that hasn't been done before. So what is so new and exciting? This is not just your typical CD. The CD is better classified as a Feature Film, except it’s all audio. There are no gaps, pauses, or breaks! The CD plays like a movie, front to back, beginning to end!
I've roughly invested over $6,000 into this project, and I just need a little help to get me over the top. Here is how it breaks down:
$700 Studio Fees (Mixing/Engineer Fees/Tweaks)
$1100 Manufacturing (Pressing the first batch of CDs)
$200 Artwork Design (Photographer/Cover Art)
Realistically, I'll need close to $4,000 to complete the album, However - My Kickstarter goal is only $2000. Of course, the more I raise -- the better I can promote and finish this exciting project. Not to mention, there are some pretty awesome rewards that come with pledging!

Born Christopher Harris in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, DJ $crilla began his journey into music and entertainment at the age of 15. He has performed all over the country, including being the first rapper to ever perform at the Grand Ole Opry. He has written and performed over 25 rap songs for Fraternities and Sororities Nationwide, including the University of Maryland, Kent State University and UC Irvine. His versatility and appreciation for various genres of music, has led him to open up for Jay Sean, Lloyd, Ryan Cabrera, Petey Pablo and 8 Ball & MJG.
Over the course of his life, music greats such as the late Tupac Shakur, Jay Z, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, and Coldplay have all uniquely impacted $crilla and the way he approaches his music. From his first album, “The Chronicle” in 2001, to the highly buzzed about mixtape “Grand Theft Audio”, $crilla began laying the foundation for his musical transformation. With the release of “Fully Focused”, “My Story:Everybody’s Got One” and his latest album “Me, Myself, And I”, he has begun to blaze a trail for the next generation of rap.
When asked what his goal for his music was, $crilla replied, “I just want to make timeless music.”
