I'm thrilled to report that mixer Paul Michael completed the sound mix for MEN OF THE CLOTH last night at Domicile studio in New York City. He's a real perfectionist and did a fantastic job! (Paul's other credits include the Oscar-nominated film MY COUNTRY, MY COUNTRY.)
I'm thrilled to report that we recently started post-production on MEN OF THE CLOTH. Here's a photo of my colorist, Patrick Inhofer, hard at work doing the color grading on the film.
Wow -- when I said a lot can happen in a few hours, I wasn't kidding!
We just sold a reward for the Platinum Sponsor package to a supremely generous backer and successfully reached our funding goal! I've been interviewed by several journalists and bloggers over the last month. At Gents Among Men they asked "How many hours or days do you imagine you've spent on MEN OF THE CLOTH?" I responded: "It's been a 10-year labor of love, and even when I'm not actively working on the film, I'm always thinking about it. As with any creative endeavor, it becomes a part of you." I'm sure that many of you can relate to this sentiment!
The moment of truth has arrived: as of today, this campaign has received pledges for 59 % of our goal, but we have to reach our entire funding goal of $20,000 by the end of the day on Friday December 21st in order to get funded. We still have a considerable distance to climb, but I remain ever hopeful because I know there are generous souls out there who want to see us finish post-production and get the film out into the world this spring.
