AM-AM is a custom built art vending machine for art fairs. We will show it at Art Basel Miami '09 and Art Cologne '10
Artists Meeting, a NYC collective, is creating an art vending machine for Art Basel Miami in December, 2009 and the Cologne Art Fair in April, 2010. We need to raise $4000 for materials and transportation. The project, AM–AM (Artists Meeting – Art Machine), will serve as a contemporary version of the art gallery and art dealer with state-of-the-art coin-operated vending machines built along a 12’x8’ wall. AM-AM will dispense posters, drawings, DVD’s, custom designed chef’s shirts, limited edition AM ‘zines, CD’s of original AM sound art, custom barrier tape, and Artists Meeting underwear and other artworks our team is developing.
