ShockBox is an outrageous, cutting-edge comedy series about two guys who create an indi music show just to meet their favorite band.
Here’s the scoop: We have 24 extremely entertaining episodes written and ready for production. We have an incredibly talented cast attached, a professional crew in place and ready to work hard for their peanuts, locations locked down, professional musicians and bands lined up to contribute original tunes, social media pages ready to launch (Twitter + Facebook), distribution in place on multiple web platforms, and we’re just getting started.
Before we can begin production on this completely unique, hysterical comedy series, we have to get some money in place to pay our people for their hard work.
This is a passion project for everyone involved, however passion alone won’t pay for crew members’ valuable time, meals, professional grade gear (cameras, microphones, lens rentals, props, lights, wardrobe, set design) and the many other expenses that come with creating a world around a comedy series. We've been developing this project for the better part of a year and it’s time to ask for your help.
The goal of this campaign is to raise $24,000 to make our series a reality. This is the bare minimum needed to bring ShockBox to life for all the world to enjoy (while maintaining the level of quality it deserves). The best part is, every dollar is going straight into the production. If we exceed our goal of $24,000, the series will directly improve as a result.
This is where it gets interesting. If we do not succeed in raising $24,000 by July 16th we will not receive ANY of the money pledged. None. Nada. Your credit/debit card won’t be charged, and the series will not get made. Of course this would be extremely unfortunate, and that's why we need your help!

(SPECIAL OFFER FOR MUSICIANS/BANDS) In addition to all of the above incentives, we will feature the musician/band in one episode during the first season! A song from the musician/band will be chosen for the opening/closing credits of the episode, the musician/band will be formally acknowledged in writing during the opening and closing credits, and a song of the musician/band will be featured in the teaser trailer for the episode. Additionally, the musician/band's name will be mentioned in the dialog of the episode and if the musician/band has an official poster, t-shirt, CD or other merchandise available, we will feature the merchandise in at least one scene of the episode as well.
