Dear Backers,

We are disappointed to report that you will not be receiving your mentalKase(s). We believe foam is a superior material for protecting our electronic devices and we have learned a tremendous amount from this experience. The good news is that support is free when projects do not hit their goal on Kickstarter - there will be no charge to you. 

If you are new to Kickstarter we hope that you will find other projects to back here. There are many fantastic ideas out there and this funding model directly links creativity to the consumer. Kickstarter and other crowd sourcing platforms change the game for artists, musicians, designers and entrepreneurs. We hope you continue to fund creativity and dreams.

Testing Results are in! iPhone survives 6000 foot drop protected by mentalKase!

What did you do last weekend?  At mentalKase we had skydivers dropping iphones into the desert from 500, 3000 and 6000 feet testing impact resistance.  mentalKase performed even better then expected.  Check out the video here: http://vimeo.com/60141557

Thank you Charlie Sorrel! - and rest assured that mentalKase is rain and splash resistant.  We take "waterproof" very seriously - if and when we have a case that is totally submersible - something we'd go surfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing or kiteboarding with - then we will call it waterproof.  Until then - we remain resistant to water, but not impervious.  Like superheros to bad guys.
