Who Am I?
Hello! My name is Cameron. I am a considerably young photographer, and inventor. I have invented a few things, for my personal use, and have shared them with DIYPhotography.net, and they have been featured on other websites as well. Things I have invented include a DIY extension tube for macro photography, a DIY neck strap loop for hanging your camera around your neck by means of the tripod slot. I have also made a floor level tripod for low angle shots. I have very, very strong experience with photography, more specifically, creative and artistic photography, or in other words, getting more out of photography than what others normally do. My photos have been on TV, and have won a lot of different contests on news channels. I have also won other contests other places as well.
I went to Hermitage High in Richmond VA, and completed highschool. I also graduated from the Technical Center in the school, for telecommunications. I learned a lot from it, but it's not my dream job. Though I do similar work to that as my job now. I have bigger dreams, which is why I started this project.
I grew up in Richmond VA, and still live here. I have yet to go traveling, but when I do, I plan on making it about photography, and getting new photos with my new invention, so, about my invention...
So I had an idea in my head, to create a camera lens that I could use that would express my artistic side, because I admit, taking 1000+ photos, and individually editing them in photo editing software is quite the time eating task. So with that motivation, along with much more, I decided to invent my own lens. In a short while, I had a prototype built. I named it the Lynny, or in more technical terms, the Lynny Lens System.

What is the Lynny Lens System?
The Lynny is an amazing selective focusing, special effects lens for artistic and creative photography. It can be used for "anything photography". It's a lens system which you can tilt around and push/pull to focus.
Let me ask you something. Can your standard camera lens be tilted in all angles and directions when it's mounted to the camera?
Can you push and pull to focus on your subject? Or are you stuck with spinning a boring focus wheel that makes this really annoying squeaking sound?
The Lynny is the lens system for actually having FUN with photography, while at the same time, getting you the most INCREDIBLE photographs ever taken, ALL without the single press of a button in photo editing applications, because the special effects are built inside the lens!

I'm extremely excited about the Lynny, and am proud to say I have completely redesigned the Lynny Lens System. Now it's a more professional, consumer ready product that offers much more than any other lens system out there.
You can completely customize the Lynny and it's resulting photos by adding different optics (which are included in the rewards).

Why am I here?
I need your help. In fact, I can't do this Without your help. I need to gather the funding to kickstart the creation of this product in forward direction. The design you see in the photos above, below, and in the video will cost around $1000 to $2000+ USD to have built. It's a rubber mold.
My goal is to get the funding to make this lens, and start selling them to people and giving them away in contests, and hopefully bring it to major stores, online and buildings. I would also like to sell locally, so having the lenses in stock will be a good thing, and I will need to have funding to make the lenses to sell locally.
Also my goal is to make the Lynny Lens System available for pre-ordering through this kickstarter project, so interested people will get them before others, and then use the money left over to put towards making more of these products, which involves building them and selling them on my own, as well as finding other businesses who will sell them for me.
I also plan to use funding to pay for other lenses to build brand new models, which will hopefully be released soon after they are made. I will do some testing of different lens optics and find out which ones will work best with the Lynny Lens System.
I also need the funds for buying the lenses to use as the main elements for the Lynny, the 3 extra lenses for the different models of the Lynny, the "aperture ring" pieces, the camera mount parts, as well as the adapters for the cameras.
This is my one chance to offer everyone a brand new way of enjoying photography by the use of a special effects lens. If I don't gather enough funding, it won't happen, and the lens more than likely will never be in anyones hands.
All of the funds will be put towards buying parts to make these lenses, and hard work and time will be put into building the lenses PERFECTLY for everyone to use.

My Manufacturing Plan:
So you ask how will I make this product? Well first I will gather the funding for this lens, I will use the $1065 plus whatever amount for hidden fees, to get the rubber mold made. Then I will buy about 500-1000 or more of the pieces of the rubber mold, which will be 0.29 cents each, so I will run around $150 to $300 or so. I will get the pieces sent to me. I will then place orders for the main lens elements which will fit into the top of the mold, that along with the mount for the camera, adapters for the mount to fit all cameras, the wide angle, telephoto, and macro lenses, as well as the step down ring. What will also be bought are a UV filter to include with the lenses, as well as a lens cap for the front and the rear. Once I have the parts sent to me, I will begin mass producing these with my partner. Once they are made, I will then begin selling them everywhere.
About the process of making them. To make them, I will get the pieces from the rubber mold, and the lenses and camera mounts, and I will put the front lenses with the aperture ring in the slot in the top of the rubber piece, and insert the camera mount in the bottom. I may have to find some way to make them stay still and not slide around. I have ideas. That's really all it is for building the lenses. The Lynny is fully customizable. It has a feature which lets you screw in 37mm optics and accessories on the front "aperture" ring.
It's also a universal lens system. One lens fits all cameras, by using adapters for the cameras, which are really cheap these days. I'm talking $3-and-below-cheap.
