20K Films is now offering their first feature-length documentary, Proceed and Be Bold!, featuring letterpress printer, Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. for the super cheapo low price of $10 in order to raise enough funds to manufacture another 1,000 copies. You know you want one. Yes, you in the red shirt. I'm talking to you.
The new reprint will include the following new features which is what all kickstarter.com money will go towards:
1) English Subtitles of the entire documentary for the hearing impaired (It has been brought to my attention that the hearing impaired don't get enough love in the indie film DVD market. We at 20K Films will change that, and every single one of our films from here on out will include closed captioning. We love you and want you to know it.)
2) A curriculum/discussion guide for classroom use (Or just to use to discuss the film with your friends at a local bar post watching, or to blow your nose if you are in dire dire need of paper. Do what you want with the guide. We won't judge you.)
3) New DVD packaging that will be designed and printed by Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. and Co.
4) The DVDs themselves will be printed by DVD manufacturing monolith, Disc Makers. Sorry, folks, I would love to keep this part of the production in America, but I have yet to find a comparable independent DVD replicator. If you are one, please contact me at laura@20kfilms.com
Plus the DVD will still include the 9 special features currently on the DVD and Italian subtitles.
If we meet our fundraising goal and deadline, then the DVDs will be reprinted and shipped in time for the Winter Holidays! So this DVD would make an amazing Christmas, Hanakkuh, or winter holiday gift! And it will always make an amazing birthday gift!

I am the Director/Producer of the documentary feature, Proceed and Be Bold!, which has screened all over America and in various parts of the world (including New Zealand and Italy). Recently, I received the On Screen/ In Person grant from the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation which allowed me screen PaBB to new audiences in 7 different cities on the East Coast as well as in the US Virgin Islands in March 2012. The film has also been in 7 film festivals, including the San Francisco Documentary Film Festival and the St. John’s Women’s International Film Festival.
