Moboto expresses itself through its variety of personas that you select. Those personas constantly gather information from phone sensors and web data and communicates visually or verbally to you through images or behaviors.

Everyday we are building new things for Moboto...and we hope you will help us. The simple twist-to-lock connection creates infinite possibilities to add new bases. In addition to new MOBOTO bases we plan to design and produce in the future, we will be making the twist-to-lock connection files available to 3D communities so you and others can experiment and create your own bases. We are also looking to release after launch tools to create some of your own personas and other software features.

We are entering production this summer and your support will fund hardware tooling, software development, software and hardware patents, and Kickstarter fees. To create the hardware, we have partnered with a well respected international firm who manufactures and distributes products for Apple and other hi-tech companies. The software is being built internally. Designed in California and manufactured in China, we plan to have Moboto in your hands before the end of the year and will be sharing updates with our Kickstarter supporters along the way and getting feedback on development.

Q. Is the MOTOBO APP free? Yes. The MOBOTO APP will be a free app in the App Store and will provide free personas [ Eye/Mouth, Flower and Face ]. Future updates will continue to provide free and paid personas and features. 

Q. Which iOS Devices are compatible? Built for iOS, Moboto is compatible with all iOS devices. [iPhone 3/3G/3GS/4/4S/iPod Touch/iPad1/2/New and can charge iPod Nano and other iPods] . We are working on bringing Moboto to Android and Windows and will share more after we launch.

Q. I have a case for my iOS device. Will it fit? Yes. MOBOTO will feature a swivel connector that will enable most cases to fit. 

Q. How does MOBOTO charge? Moboto comes with USB Micro to USB A cord to plug into wall or computer.

Q. Does MOBOTO come with Line Out for Audio? Yes. 

Q. Will MOBOTO be compatible with new iPhone connector? "If" there is a change to the connector before kickstarter campaign ends, we will create an new version for those that want to pledge for the new version. Shipping dates on that version would be whenever new connector becomes available and we are able to ship.
