Almost.
is a feature length comedy about Andy Ledbetter, a slacker no-good who is a romantic at heart. He meets the girl of his dreams, Cassie Thompson, at a party, and her boyfriend Eric Sanders, who not only is a better catch than Andy is, but one of Andy's close friends. Andy struggles with balancing his feelings towards Cassie, and his friendship with Eric, and his sense of what it means to be a good person.

This film is Sam Allmon's Thesis film for Baylor University, and the Allmon Brothers' (No relation) feature film debut. It will be shot on location in Waco, on a shoestring budget, starring students and friends from the Baylor Area.

Most feature films have a budget in the Millions of dollars, we are only asking for a total of 5000. Most feature films take about a year to finish from shooting to release, we are making the film, from start to finish, in one semester.

Michael and Sam Allmon have made many quality short films on zero budget, and on tight schedules. We have won awards such as "Best Editing" "Best Cinematography" and 2nd Runner up at festivals such as the 48 hour film festival, where you have one weekend to shoot a 7 minute film, from start to finish. We have 15 weeks to finish the film. If we did 15 "48 hour" films, we would have an 105 minute film, well over the length needed for a feature.

A helping factor in the micro budget of this film is the help we are getting from Baylor University. Being a senior Film Major, Sam has access to all the equipment needed to shoot a high quality film, and so most of the costs of an independent feature are dissolved already.
