Still hasn't received my shipment. Wrote an email asking about it and no reply so far. Gotta say really disappointed at the customer service here. Just what do I have to do to know the status of my order ???

another frame issue...
one corner of the metal frame does not lay flat against the iPhone surface...
looks like the corner is slightly bent outwards causing a gap.. not visible until applied onto the phone... if anything catches it, or gets in between, it will rip the frame right off...
Can we get a replacement? or exchange?

other than that, our second TT works perfectly fine!

Frame doesn't stick. Period. After 3 days it is no longer usable. This is obviously an issue with many of us. New frames should absolutely be sent.

i just opened and applied mine, but sadly one angle of the frame doesn't fit, like many others have written. I've put books on it but it just doesn't stick.
I really hoped I was one of the lucky few who received a fully functional TT. It seems I'm not.
BTW, all the rest is great and works really well, also the pattern is not that bad (I've got a green one) but a non-sticking frame makes it all useless

I love it. It's awesome. I got two and one of them worked great. But my second one the adhesive peeled off when I tried to readjust. How can u replace the adhesive? Can I get an exchange?

Hey gang, just to let you know that I got my TidyTilts today! Great looking product, I like the material and the pattern. The metal does seem it doesn't stick well but I've only had it for like 30 minutes, let's see how it holds up. I LOVE the magnet feature!

I did get mine by mail a few weeks ago... Love it, works great. (blue color version). Love to hear what future products you can dream up next!!

Just received mine yesterday, it is awesome, i put my old cover in the trash, it does the job perfectly, I love it. The only bad point is that the metal frame does not stick very well (I hope it will stay in place or that I will be able to replace it with a spare part), otherwise, it is perfect and exactly what I was expecting. I love the magnetic feature. Thanks a lot for this awesome product and I hope you will release other ones as cool as this one.

Is anything happening for those of us with frames that don't stick on?
Clearly the metal frame and adhesive don't work well for some people, but is there a solution or are we just going to be ignored?

I too like some of the backers thought that this was a great idea, but I'm very disappointed. :( It's not as cool as I thought it would be and I don't think it's very useful besides being magnetic. The adhesive at the top of one of my metal pieces was sort of clumped so therefor the strip looked sort of warped. Also, one of the covers was not sticking to the metal strip properly. the corner where the camera is was not getting the magnetic closure so it was always lifted while the rest of it was stuck on.

It's been about 1 1/2 weeks and I now have given up on mine.

It was a clever idea, just not built that well.

now I use my TT one day and I love it. The material feels very good. And functions are described. It's just a very very good product. and I do not whether I get a new iPhone when it comes to because I know not for TT.

Received mine! But like many, the metal frame does not stick to the iPhone well. I think a few more days and it will just come right off... need a solution...

I received my 4 TT, and I very love them. But I got some troubles with them.

1. The frame can't fit my IPhone. One side of the frame can't stick well.
2. The glue don't hold the metal frame.

Can you help to solve my problems. Thanks a lot.

update: been about a day and the frame is coming off my iphone

I agree about the poor adhesive. I crazy glued it to the outside of a case instead.

Same for me, adhesive is poor. Two sides of the metal frame are now loose.
Also rubber is already wearing out despite the only 'friction' being the in / out to my shirt pockets.
Great concept, sadly flawed by poor quality finish.

I've been using my two TidyTilts now for a few weeks (I was one of the first 10 backers I think) and am very happy with them. They do everything I hoped for (I especially love the magnetic ability and the tilt) and I've had no problems with them at all. Nice work on this project. I appreciate the excellent communication you've kept with us while we waited AND appreciate the excellent design and materials you used. This is a great new product. I'm sure Apple is sorry they didn't come up with it!

Firstly, congratulations on your graduation, Derek and Zahra! You must be so busy - between graduation, the Design conference, and handling 30x more work than you initially anticipated with the TidyTilt. I know that 80% of Kickstarter projects that are funded never realize success and that means the backers of those projects get no reward. This project has clearly succeeded beyond expectation, and just based on your updates alone, I know how hard you must be working. Just wanted to send some positive feedback your way too- today on the subway in NYC, a young man traveling next to me asked what my TidyTilt was and how he can get one! Continued success!

I got my four and I must say that I am disappointed. It is a perfect example of a great design and very poor execution:

1. The fabric - It feels cheap. I actually like the pattern, but it just feels cheap. It does not have the same feel as the Apple iPad covers.
2. The metal frame - Too thin (I can understand making it thin so that you can get around the camera but could have been thicker elsewhere) and that leads to a host of issues. First, there is not enough adhesive on it for it to properly attach to the phone. I attached it to my phone after cleaning the back and making sure that there was nothing on it and it stuck well for about 4-5 hours but then it started peeling off. All it took was me putting it in my pocket and pulling it out several times. Next, the magnets on the cover just don't have enough surface to attach to. Taking it out of my pocket, the cover always stayed inside my pocket. There is just not enough power there. To make the point even stronger, I use a desk pad that has a metal backing to it. When I put the phone on the desk pad and pick it up, the cover stays on the desk pad because the magnets attach to the desk pad and there is more room surface. That is extremely annoying.

In my honest opinion, I think you need to redesign the metal frame with larger surface around the edges (or even on the long sides of the phone). You'll see that the magnets will work better and the frame will adhere to the phone much better. Since this product is really designed to be used on the back of the phone rather than the front, then there is no issue with a wider frame since it is the back of the phone. There is no screen or anything there that it will obscure.

Once you do that, it would be nice if you could send me 4 new frames so that I could use these covers.

i received mine a week ago and finally had a chance to put it on mu iphone but it seemed to be not sticky enough so it fell off itself easily. i applied my second one to my hubby and it was same. hope this could be improved

I've been waiting for a response on where I can get more of the metal frames. I really want about 10 of them, so I can use this with various cases. I currently have an iFrogz case and the frame fits perfectly on the front of the iPhone around the case. I always kinf of intended to use this as more of a screen cover than on the back, but I'd like to have a metal frame on the back of the case as well, to use it as a stand I'll have with me all of the time. I don't mind using a touch of glue to keep the frame firmly attached to a specific case, but I really really need additional frames.

I asked about this months ago, and was told that they would be available on their website for purchase. They aren't as of 5 minutes ago, and I'm not willing to just wait forever before I can start using this. I may look into alternatives, like some of the inexpensive adhesive magnets you can buy at Staples or something, rather than waiting for the whole frame if they aren't going to be available for sale any time soon.

I received my 4 tidy tilts three days ago and am fairly happy with the one installed on my phone. I originally wanted the green and blue but have since reverted to the black tilt. Here's why. The camera opening isn't big enough. The tilt doesn't stay perfectly lined up with the frame causing the lense or flash to become partially covered. This is very disappointing when trying to take a once opportunity picture because you get a glare off the bright colored tilts in the corner of your photo making it necessary to retake the picture. The problem still exists with the black tilt but a black corner on a photo is less annoying than green or blue. Other than that major complaint tidytilt is overall a decent product. I would just suggest making a bigger camera opening and offering more neutral colors such as grey or brown.

Just got the 4 TT's that I ordered. I have tried all four back adhesive frames and none of them will stick to the phone. Very Upsetting. Now I have 4 TT's and no way to use them.

just received the TT. underwhelming, to say the least.. even with the TT aligned perfectly straight against my iphone 4, a tiny bit of the camera lens is covered. bugs the crap out of me. i think the metal plate should have been bigger, to cover more area, so that the magnet is stronger, but thats just me. ahh.. money "well" spent

@Shawn: I'm disappointed that the 20 and 40 TT package isn't available anymore after our initial order... So you better take your 20...

I'm really let down by how long it's taking to get these out to us. Bought a seller pack thinking I'm getting it in February and now into May it's still not here? Kind of crazy for something this simple. What's going on? I would prefer a refund at this point. I let down 20 of my customers with this.

@Aadil it can take from 7 to 14 days... That depends on how fast it passes through customs...

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive theirs in the uk once they have sent an email?
